Information about Jacqueline
I worked at a secondary school until August 2013. My role at the school was to manage the EAL (English as an Additional Language students). I was also responsible for Citizenship and COPE (Certificate of Personal Effectiveness) and also taught English. I was at the same secondary school for twelve years where I gained my teaching experience.
I have taught for English for twelve years, plus other subjects such as, religious education and citizenship.
At the moment I am an artist, but would like to home tutor because I would like to help students fullfil their potential and to gain confidence in the subject area.
I am a caring and supportive person and have taught autistic, asperges students also those with learning difficulties in the past.
Availability: Everyday
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I have taught English language and literature at basic level, Key Stage three, GCSE, AS/A`Level and degree level for twelve years.
My technique covers revision, exam techniques, assessments, coursework and homework.
I always discuss targets with new students and what is required by their school and parents.
Students I have taught enjoy my lessons and become confident in the subject, which allows them to make progress and improve their grades.
In 2006 I taught at Ryde College based in Watford, for a gifted children on weekends. My role was to ensure that students as young as six years old to ten years old achieved an A* in their GCSE English. The class sizes consisted of eight students and was revision and exam structured.
At the moment I am an actress/supporting artiste, but would like to continue home tutoring either by Skype or one-to-one because I thoroughly enjoy helping students fullfil their potential and to gain confidence in the subject area.
The examining boards I have experience using are AQA, EDEXCEL and WJEC. I have all resources to teach all levels, also Linguistics and have a good collection of reading material for English Literature.
I am a caring and supportive person and have taught autistic, asperges students also those with learning difficulties in the past.
I am friendly and patient. I get great pleasure from teaching and try to make sure that learning takes place in a calm, yet studious environment.

Jacqueline is teaching English 13+ to my son, but my son now is 11 years old. She prepares him english for Harrow private independent school. He understands her teaching approach and making progress.
I hope he will pass the Exam this Autumn.
