I am an experienced tutor and qualified teacher with PGCE Mathematics and Master of Mathematics degrees. I have an excellent knowledge of mathematical theories and applications, experience of working with children and young adults, and a proven record of success in tutoring.

•Providing support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to participate fully in activities.
•Maintaining student records.
•Supporting students with emotional and behavioural problems and helping to develop their social skills.

Sep 2008 - Sep 2011: International Business Foundation Programme Tutor, Aberystwyth University

This involved:

•Teaching intermediate level International Business and Management course. Delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials to international students.
•Representing the University at numerous International student recruitment fairs in various cities.


May 2010-Sep 2011: Teaching Assistant, Plascrug Primary School, Aberystwyth

This involved:

•Working within a team helping to provide safe, creative, appropriate activities.
•Helping to supervise the children.
•Talking and listening to the children, and having fun with them.
•Organising equipment including setting-up activities and cleaning at the end of sessions.
