My Skills:
As a rocket scientist with a Masters degree, I can tutor a wide variety of technical subjects at different levels. I am very comfortable teaching Maths and Physics up to A-level and I can also teach Chemistry, Biology and Computing comfortably up to GCSE level. For other subjects and/or levels, please make an enquiry.

My Ethos:
I am a firm believer in teaching students to understand what they learn, not just memorise it. This helps students to retain that knowledge and build upon it in the future.

My Style:
As a tutor, I have a patient, relaxed style and try to guide the student in answering questions when appropriate instead of simply handing them all of the answers. This, while slower at first, pays off over time as students become more confident and begin to hone their thinking skills in each subject. The result is students who don`t have to worry about whether their exam questions are different to previous years as they know how to approach any question in an intelligent and informed manner.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday.

Experience: I have experience tutoring programming and miscellaneous aerospace topics to degree students at Loughborough University where I myself studied my Masters.
I have also run online and in-person educational programmes for teenagers and children. I have been a STEM ambassador since 2018 and have participated in multiple activities as part of that.
In my professional life, I worked as part of Rolls-Royce designing, testing and assembling new jet engine hardware and software for large aircraft.
