Hi.
My name is Saadia, and I am a Science and Maths Tutor :)

Experience: I have been tutoring for four years, both privately and at tuition centres. I have experience and confidence in teaching Maths and English to primary school students, the 11+ curriculum, and Maths and Science from Year 7 to Year 13.
I work to adapt lessons, homework, and feedback in a way that will best help the student, so I can support them in both learning new material and consolidating past knowledge. My resources include PowerPoints, quizzes, and past paper questions. I also tend to use my iPad when doing past papers so that it is clear to the student how I am approaching different questions and so that I can highlight different techniques.
I`m also a really approachable person, so I am always available in case the student requires more work/time to assist them in their revision.
In my role as a tutor, I recognise that my teaching approach and dedication play a crucial role in retaining all of my students who opt to continue their learning journey with me beyond the exam period, seeking ongoing support and guidance, which I am happy to provide.

Saadia is patient, encouraging, and explains things clearly in a way that really makes sense to my daughter. She takes the time to understand where she is struggling and breaks down tricky topics into manageable steps. My daughter now feels much more positive about maths and even looks forward to her lessons, which is a big change! I’m really grateful for the support and dedication Saadia has shown. I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring and effective maths tutor.

Saadia is great at explaining specific topics to my daughter. She challenges my daughter and provides her with homework to help her practise her skill. She provides her with tips and tricks for her to remember and my daughter is now wanting more hours with her. She finally understands things she could never understand in school. Highly recommend her as she knows her stuff!
