I have been teaching Maths in the UK for the last 14 years and have taught at both state schools and independent schools.

I have enjoyed maths from a very early age and I think it is important that students are given the time and support to ask questions to support their understanding and give them confidence with their maths.

I have studied maths throughout A`level and Degree and I have continued to share my love of maths by becoming a maths teacher. I like to enthuse students using experiences that make maths real to them.

Experience: I qualified as a maths teacher 14 years ago and have been teaching in both state and independent schools in this time. I have taught KS3 right through GCSE and into A`level. This has covered a variety of levels, from those who struggle with Maths through to those who excel and need pushing.

I have strong understanding of the new changes in both GCSE and A`level. I believe every student should have the right to feel comfortable in their learning environment, they should be able to develop their understanding, and ask questions at their own free will without feeling nervous. I believe that confidence in Maths comes through being given the chance to develop and practise. I am willing to cater for specific topics based upon the students individual needs.
