Information about Sam
I am a final-year student at the University of Warwick, where I study PPE - Politics, Philosophy and Economics (BSc). I also received offers to read PPE from LSE and UCL. Over the summer of 2019, I completed an eight-week internship at the Bank of England. I will join their graduate scheme later this year. I am a former student at Forest School in Snaresbrook, London, where I held a 60% academic scholarship. I studied History, EPQ (a mini dissertation) Maths and Economics at A-Level and received A*A*AA respectively. I received 8 A*s and 3As in my GCSEs.
I pride myself on my excellent communication skills and friendly demeanour. I endeavour to tutor seriously although I`m naturally quite a laid-back person, which is quickly recognised by pupils and puts them at ease. I also relate well to pupils because the age gap is not so large. Students often look forward to our lessons, which they say motivates them and helps them to learn. I really value getting to know my students individually and enjoy learning from them through conversation. I like to provide homework tasks, but they`re always short and for the student`s benefit - i.e. will cause no stress and I am never annoyed if not completed (unless parents think their children need a gentle nudge into action!) I provide textbook recommendations and I can be very flexible with lesson days. Past parents and students echo my sentiments, as proven by my reviews.
I encourage students to text me during the week with any problems they think I may be able to help with. Where I can`t personally help, I tend to know somebody who can. This extends to work experience (especially medicine and finance), example personal statements, advice on subject choices, revision and motivation tips.
My interests include: football, cricket, Formula 1, current affairs, music, literature, film and fashion.

Sam is an excellent tutor. Can interact with his students at any level. A* rating.
Dear Tutor Hunt. I wanted to say that Sam was an excellent tutor for maths for my children. They loved learning with him as he made the sessions fresh and interesting. Thanks
Sam is an excellent tutor and explains things well to my son. My son is also much more receptive to being tutored by someone who has only recently left school as this means Sam`s knowledge of current curriculum is good and he is easier to relate to. This is working for us and I highly recommend this tutor.
Sam has seriously raised the level of quality of my son`s work and we wd highly recommend him to any student doing GCSEs.
Very pleased would highly recommend.
Exceptional tutor. Was really pleased to find Sam he has been helping my son and daughter with all their subjects, as he is a very all rounded tutor. My children say he`s helped immensely I highly recommend him.
Excellent tutor. Very professional and knew his stuff. Able to motivate my son & enabled him to prepare for GCSE English Language retake.
