Hello! I’m a PhD-qualified Chemistry teacher with over 15 years of experience helping students achieve top grades and build real confidence in Chemistry. I currently serve as Second in Department at an Ofsted “Outstanding” sixth form college, where I lead A-Level Chemistry.
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), an enhanced DBS check, and the CSciTeach chartered mark — a national recognition of excellence in science teaching and learning.
Throughout my career, I’ve supported students of all abilities, from those aiming to secure top grades for university applications to those looking to rebuild confidence and understanding. I’m highly experienced with both OCR and AQA exam boards and have a proven track record of helping students achieve exceptional results.
Before my current role, I led a top-performing Chemistry department, ranked among the best in the county and within the top 10% nationally for A-Level outcomes.
