Micaela

I am an enthusiastic teacher of Biology who loves being in the classroom. I thoroughly enjoy helping pupils achieve their academic goals and inspiring an interest in Biology, with many of my pupils pursuing careers in the Sciences. I have a Master`s Degree in Conservation Biology and am also a Divemaster and Research Diver.

Availability: I am available in the late afternoons after school and during school holidays.

Experience: I have been teaching Biology at a very high achieving grammar school in Tunbridge Wells for the last five years with extensive experience teaching key stages 3, 4 and 5, covering the entire range. In addition, I have experience of the different Science disciplines in key stage 3.

I have done private tutoring for both GCSE and A Level pupils, with the latter aimed at securing the grades needed for university offers.

As a practising teacher, I am very good at creating a suitable and conducive working environment for pupils of ranging abilities. I enjoy providing personalised tutoring sessions, in which pupils will be supported to achieve their academic potential.
