Experience: While I was studying in Singapore I taught several young Japanese students between the ages of 9-15 as well as early learning from age 5-8. Over the course of three years I followed both the British curriculum as well as the International curriculum. I had excellent results with all of my students and helped them to achieve the highest group levels for both English Literature and language. I also worked with them on essay writing skills, grammar, sentence structure and with my older pupils taught GCSE preparation and useful tricks to get them through tricky homework tasks.

While I was in Sydney I worked with students doing higher level English Literature in the International Baccalaureate program as well as A Level English in editing and proof reading their final/ extended time essays. Providing in-depth notes on their essays I provided edits up until their final submission. I edited essays across a range of English, Film and Theatre topics.

I have also taught English as well as a range of other subjects in South Africa, working as a teacher in an AIDS orphanage in Swaziland. It was also a privilege to spend time in the Lamdon school in Leh, the capital of Ladakh while trekking across the Himalayas, working as a teacher specialising in the English language.
