Hi I am an offer holder for medicine currently undertaking a gap year, I have previously tutored students in the sciences and maths. I boost student engagement by employing innovative learning methods and accurately identifying areas of weakness by reviewing past test results and developing tailored learning materials I can improve my tutee`s grades. I provided support round-the-clock by responding to email requests for assistance with specific questions and lessons.
Generally my tutoring process starts with a lesson in which we go over some questions together so we can find out which areas you are struggling with then in the next few lesson we focus on completing questions realting to those areas and going over some theories which will help you answer more questions. My method varies for subjects greatly as with subjects like Biology it is key to work through answers and mark-schemes to help you understand the subject while in Maths practicing a vraiety of questions is key. I cater my lessons to your needs and requirements of the subjects to ensure it`s enjoyable and effective to you

Experience: I have a total of 3 years of tutoring experience in which I`ve tutored students in Maths, English and the sciences. I first started tutoring in high school when I was completing my A-levels and I`m proud to say I was able boost my tutee`s grades from a grade 6 to an 8 in her GCSE chemistry. Since then I have discovered my passion for teaching and continued tutoring students in the sciences and maths and english. I am currently tutoring students in GCSE maths and I look forward to expanding my horizons and start tutoring students about the UCAT and BMAT.
