I am a highly experienced Maths tutor, with a Masters degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol. I have been teaching one-on-one for 10 years, during which time I have taught every level, from primary school through to university level. That said, the majority of my experience has been in tutoring KS3, GCSE and A-level students. I am very enthusiastic about maths but also very patient and easygoing. I have a very flexible style of teaching that caters to the individual needs of the student. I think it is important that students are challenged and encouraged to think for themselves, but not overloaded. I understand that each student is different, with varying levels of ability and interest in the subject. I believe that the path to improvement in Maths is by doing, and hence I put a strong emphasis on solving problems and exercises. My knowledge of the curriculum and various exam board specifications is excellent and up-to-date.
