I have an Honours degree in English and History from London University and a PGCE in Education. I live in Kent and have taught in a variety of educational establishments locally. I currently teach GCSE English part time at St Augustine Academy in Maidstone. I also tutor LAC’s at Hundred of Hoo academy to enable them to reach their potential at GCSE.
I currently have a number of private students which includes, English and History A level students covering AQA and Edexcel exam boards and a number of GCSE English students also covering the major exam boards.
I have many years of experience working in this field and many of the students that I have currently have been with me for a number of years. I will always go the extra mile to help a student reach their full potential.

Availability: To be arranged to suit both parties and dependent on availability.

Experience: I have over 25 years experience teaching both History and English to A level. I have taught within both the public and private sector including Further Education. I have a lot of experience of 121 tutoring and have taught on intervention programmes in a number of schools locally. I currently tutor in both English and History and have students ranging from KS3 to A Level. I am passionate about helping students raise their achievement levels and overcoming barriers to learning.
