Hello, I`m a tutor specialising in English Literature. I`m also a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manchester, where I`ve taught first- and second-year undergraduate English Literature students on courses which included prose, poetry, drama & theory, from numerous different time periods. The course units I`ve taught on are: Theory and Text; Writing, Identity and Nation; Literature and History. I have recently completed my PhD on 1960s and 70s experimental women`s writing and the visual arts. Previously I studied in Edinburgh for my undergraduate and master`s degrees, and I`m from Ireland.

Availability: I am available after 11am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and after 1pm on Thursdays. Please note that at the moment I am only available for online tutoring.

Experience: I`ve been teaching English Literature to undergraduates at the University of Manchester for the past four years: three years on the first-year Theory and Text course, and one on Writing, Identity and Nation (second years), and I am currently teaching on the first-year Literature and History course. I went to school in Ireland, and got an A1 in English in the Leaving Certificate, back in 2005. I have a first-class undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh (2011), and a Master`s in Creative Writing with distinction from the same (2013). I have just completed my PhD at the University of Manchester.
