I am a Spanish high school teacher from Madrid based in Glasgow. I am fully qualified, I recently obtained brilliant feedback for my PGDE at the University of Strathclyde.I previously obtained my Cambridge teaching qualification CELTA. I graduated in Complutense University of Madrid.

I have tutored for over ten years, partly in Spain and in Scotland where I recently taught at high schools. Most of my students are teenagers who I help succeed in their SQA examinations.
I also tailor independent adult learners and I can ensure total understanding of subject matter and adapt to my pupils` needs and learning goals.


ABOUT MY CLASSES:
I prepare personalised lesson plans according to my students needs, implementing a variety of timed activities to monitor progress and establish focus points.
For high school pupils I work along the lines of their school, while providing extra resources and activities to enable them to succeed at their test results.

Availability: I currently have availability from Monday to Wednesday in the daytime or Thursday evenings.

Experience: I have over ten years of teaching and tutoring experience. My students have always succeeded at boosting their fluency thanks to our continuous work and dedication. Plus, those working towards their SQA exams have always obtained better results.

In the past I worked in several bilingual summer summer camps and language schools, both in Madrid and Scotland. This has provided me with effective communication skills and teaching dynamics to work with groups and to adapt a formal methodology of the teaching of languages to a more relaxed but fruitful and fun environment.

I have also worked as a Spanish language assistant in several high schools in Edinburgh and I have recently worked as a Spanish teacher in a variety of shcools in Glasgow. Having seen the teaching techniques used in different schools I have a good grasp of the standard curriculum.
