Information about Anita
I live close to Altrincham town centre. I have a Masters Degree in Modern English Literature from the Victoria University of Manchester. I also teach History and Politics.
I`m both patient and motivational for struggling pupils and adept at accelerating the progress of high achieving pupils.
Please note that I take all reasonable precautions to avoid contamination with Covid-19. I wear a mask and gloves throughout my visit and ask that secondary school children and parents also wear a face mask whilst social distancing is not possible.
Availability: Availability during the day-time on Monday to Friday. Availability on Wednesday from three thirty pm to five thirty pm and then from seven thirty pm onwards. Thursday from six o`clock in the evening. Also Saturday morning from ten am until eleven am and then in the afternoon from one thirty pm until four thirty pm.
On Sunday morning I`m available from eight thirty am for one hour only.

Experience: I have over 20 years experience of teaching pupils in their own home or mine at every level, from primary through to degree level.
Lessons are thoroughly but individually prepared and well researched. I have a good rapport with pupills of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. I work closely with parents to set and agree objectives and strategy.
It`s important to work closely with the pupil to build self confidence and esteem, which is the enemy of exam jitters.
This strategy has built up over the years to give excellent reasults to often exceed and better the agreed objectives.

Teacher Anita is very patient. She tries to protect kid`s interests first rather than care too much about how much progress they might get in short term. I think this is very important and good to kids. She is also quite flexible, willing to travel to our house for the lesson or we could go to hers, either way.

Anita has been teaching my son who is in year 13 for about a month now. She is always on time and puts in lots of effort in guiding my son to achieve his target grades in his upcoming A level exams.

Anita has been tutoring my son after he fell a little behind in year 3. We thought he’d benefit from some extra sessions to boost his confidence. Anita is really patient and has made English enjoyable for my son again. We’re starting to notice improvements in his approach to his work and are really pleased with the work Anita does. She also gives us a short report of his progress each lesson which is so useful. I’d definitely recommend her.

Anita has been tutoring my 9 year old daughter now for a couple of months and we have found her to be pleasant and patient. She clearly has a lot of teaching experience and knows how to get the best out of our child. She is also offers excellent value of money compared to other tutors advertised on this site.
