Having graduated with a 1st in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, I am a passionate, approachable and experienced tutor specialising in the sciences and maths. Having tutored students for over five years, I love helping students achieve their academic goals.
I always take time to get to know each student and prepare lessons tailored to their learning styles. As well as helping with understanding of concepts, I understand the importance of practising exam questions and helping with exam technique. By focusing on specific topics where students show weaknesses, preparing notes and practice questions and going through past papers I help ensure success.
My price includes time spent prepping the lesson and marking homework - I make sure I turn up to every lesson with prepared resources that will ensure students get the most out of our sessions.
I am available until the end of 2020 and can do intensive courses over the Christmas holidays. Please message me if you are interested or have any questions.

Alexandra first started tutoring my two daughters over a year ago and has continued to tutor them during the school holidays over the last year.
In her sessions they worked on 11+ non-verbal and verbal reasoning, and year 9 English, Maths and Sciences. Alex really improved my daughter’s confidence in English and understanding of key concepts in science and maths and continues to build a sound base for them across these important subjects.
My children really enjoy their weekly sessions, and have always asked to continue lessons with Alex.
Alex always prepares her lessons thoroughly and will bring supplementary materials to help explain or illustrate difficult points.
Alex is punctual, organised, polite and trustworthy. She is patient and always manages to make lessons interesting whilst ensuring that my children understand academic concepts fully.
