I graduated from Durham university in 2017 with a masters level degree in Physics and then a completed a PhD at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science at Bangor University and graduated in 2021, giving me a wealth of experience in educational settings and a deep understanding for my subjects. I enjoy all things related to maths, physics, astronomy and music. I have worked in University settings for several years both at Bangor University and Newcastle University as a researcher, between 2021 and 2024. This experience has taught me the importance of having an inquisitive mind to suceed in learning. Between 2024 and 2025, I pursued a PGCE in mathematics, before moving into a tutoring based capacity. During this time I have developed my understanding of pedagogy, teaching practice and learning styles. I am a keen hill walker, astronomer and enjoy playing the piano and organ.
