I am available for KS2, 3 and 4 students and also adult learners. I am an online tutor after having spent 10 years in the classroom. I am an ex Head of Department and I am also an examiner and assessor for different exam boards.

My aim is to enable every student I teach to enjoy reading, feel confident in analysing any text and to have a mature written expression.

Availability: I tutor online using zoom and have availability most evenings and during weekdays. Get in touch to see if we can tailor education to you.

Experience: I have been teaching English for ten years, I’ve been Head of English Faculty, Intervention Manager and Literacy Lead. I now homeschool my own children through KS2, 3 and 4. During my career I have had 10 years of experience teaching GCSE and A-Level.

In addition to this, I have been a moderator for AQA GCSE Controlled Assessments and I have also been an examiner for Edexcel marking GCSE language exams for the last 3 years.

Recently I have been through extensive training in Read, Write Inc. teaching KS1/2 and 3 Stages how to read.
