I am a History teacher at one of the top performing schools in Yorkshire. As well as 13 years experience in the classroom, I am an examiner for OCR and have previously examined for Edexcel and AQA.

I live in North Yorkshire with my husband and two young boys. As a mum as well as a teacher, I know the importance of young people feeling fully supported to reach their potential.

Availability: Weekdays from 6pm
Weekend early morning and late afternoon

Experience: I’ve been a History teacher for 13 years teaching a mix of KS3, KS4 and A- level. I am an examiner for OCR and have previously examined for both AQA and Edexcel.

During my teaching career I have been a Head of History as well as leading the training of new History teachers.

I have a taught History undergraduates at the University of York as a seminar leader as part of my PhD studies. I have also worked as a researcher for the BBC.
