My name is Ursula and I am a recent graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where I read English Literature. My final grade was a First. I received an A* for my English Literature A-Levels, an A at GCSE and an A* at GCSE English Language; English is my specialist subject. I am currently enrolled in a TEFL Level 5 certification course.

Experience: I have not tutored students at a secondary school level before, but I believe the academic knowledge base I have gained from my degree will very easily develop into the requisite expertise for tutoring. I am a hard working person and took on executive and managerial roles in a broad range of extracurricular activities during my time at university, including the Editorship of a magazine where I had to hone my interpersonal skills and run a large creative team of students. Teaching, learning and establishing relationships were all key responsibilities of my position, where I also guided inexperienced or young writers to formulate and develop their writing skills. I received As and A*s at GCSE and A-Level in English, making me an ideal tutor for students or parents of students wishing to attain these grades. I am also currently enrolled in a TEFL course, helping me teach students who may have a language barrier.
