Hi. My name is Lynda. I am a full-time Maths Tutor, having taught in schools and tutored for many years. I enjoy my subject and try to share this with all my students, particularly if they find the subject difficult. I am well qualified with a Maths Degree from the University of London and a PGCE from Southampton University.

I began teaching in a comprehensive school in Wiltshire before moving to an independent school where I taught A level. Since then I have worked in several excellent schools in Hampshire and another independent school. I have always worked hard for my students to enable them to fulfil their potential.

If you are looking for an experienced tutor with recent exam knowledge, then I could be the person for you.

I teach each student according to their needs. Some students will struggle with the basics so we`ll concentrate on finding ways to help you remember and understand those topics. If you are trying to secure a Grade A/A* then we`ll focus on different things because your knowledge will be different. We`ll work together to reach your goal.

Availability: I am available during the daytime from Monday to Thursday. I am also available during school holidays should you require extra lessons or attend a boarding school. After the exam period in June, I will be available again during the evenings.

Willing to travel: Home Only

Experience: I have tutored many students from primary school age to degree level and mature students sitting their QTS exam. I also helped a mature student to pass her RN entrance exam. All have made great progress and been successful in their exams. I currently have tutees from Years 2 to 11, working on KS1, KS2, KS3, Common Entrance and GCSE.
