Hi ,

I am Janet, a friendly and patient native German language tutor with more than 12 years of experience.
Based on my own experience as a native German living in the UK and learning English as a day-to-day language, I know that breaking the language barrier is the first step to success, especially for younger students.
I therefore create a learning atmosphere that is open, personal and encourages to interact.
I believe language learning should be inspiring and rewarding, so I keep my lessons focused but enjoyable.

Availability: Weekdays ( day and evening)

Experience: My experience in tutoring includes all levels of German in small classes or as one - one lessons.

This includes diverse groups of clients, from children from the age of 4 years to youths and people in retirement, at all levels and from early starter to advanced professional.

I regularly support students working towards specific exams such as GCSE, A- level or exams at the Goethe Institute. For several years I have also been helping professionals to improve their German for work, either in business environment or in private lessons.

I have been running extra curriculum German classes in a primary school to introduce German to small children and I playfully sparked their interest in learning a new language.

My aim is to help clients gain confidence in their language skills and achieve their individuals goals.
My teaching is delivered in person, at my home or online using professional conference media. Online sessions include regular interactive activities, with teaching material shared before and during the class. Additional teaching material for independent study can be prepared and will be supervised as part of the training experience, as demanded by the client.
