I am currently a First School Teacher and have 30 years experience of Early Years and Key Stage 1. I am always enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and believe that children learn best when the learning is fun, practical and rewarding.
My passion is to encourage children to be happy, reaching their full potential and therefore develop the self confidence that sometimes is lacking.
I provide many resources to develop practical skills suitable for young children.

Availability: Most Evenings, Weekends and School Holidays.
I am happy to book pupils weekly, a short booster course or lessons during the school holidays.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I am able to give tuition in, Early Reading and Phonics,(specialising in Read Write Inc), Writing, Handwriting and Numeracy.
I have also taught the Singapore Maths approach (4-7) which many Primary schools are introducing. This is a very visual and practical scheme which helps develop basic numeracy skills.

I can also teach basic skills through singing and am passionate how music links closely with reading skills.
