I am currently Head of Business and Economics and in my tenth year of teaching at a school in Kings Langley. Students consistently attain grades which are in the top 20th percentile in the UK. I am very enthusiastic about Business Studies as a subject being taught in schools and feel it not only develops students academic skills, but widens their understanding of the economic climate in which businesses operate.

Business courses also offer the opportunity for students to fully develop their analytical and evaluative extended writing skill, which is an area I focus on during every tutoring session.

Tutees will be given a range of resources during each session to support their understanding along with feedback on questions completed.

I have been teaching A-Level and GCSE Business Studies for the past nine years. I have excellent subject knowledge and an in-depth understanding of examining technique for both Key Stages.

I have been examining for AQA for the past seven years. During this time I have been examining the A-Level qualification, with a comprehensive understanding of what is required in all three papers sat at this level.

Since I started my career in teaching I have been examining for AQA. I have been a BUSS1 and BUSS2 examiner which further enhances my understanding of what is required specifically at AS-Level, but generally on how to approach the examination papers.
