I am an experienced PGCE qualified ENGLISH teacher of many years and was until the Covid crisis teaching Supply in both Primary and Secondary Schools. I have taught all Key Stages including SATS,11PLUS ,GCSE English Literature and Language.I also teach FRENCH and GERMAN to GCSE and Beginners Spanish/Russian.

I am a flexible and friendly teacher, happy to work with those who are aiming high as well as with students who may be struggling with a subject.My aim is to enthuse students,build up their confidence,help them to achieve their goals and make the learning experience enjoyable. I use media resources and games as well as more traditional methods in my lessons.

The important thing is that I tailor make the lesson to fit the student`s individual needs as well as their personality.

I am also a diploma qualified teacher of English as a Foreign Language with many years of experience including helping students to pass all the Cambridge exams and IELTS.

Experience: I have taught in 3 sectors of Education : Primary Schools,Secondary Schools and English Language Colleges including Management.

I have also worked for many years as a one to one tutor teaching languages (French and German plus Spanish and Russian to Beginners).

I have taught abroad in Russia,France and Spain and have experience teaching around 20 different nationalities here in the UK.

I am used to working with a very wide variety of students and therefore can offer lessons to suit the student`s needs and goals. I am experienced at `troubleshooting` such as when I helped a prospective teacher to get into College after she had twice failed the entrance test and also coached a struggling Rugby player to achieve a C grade in his GCSE`s enabling him to get into a college and study Sport.
