I have been teaching for over 20 years and yet still have an immense passion for Literature and the written word. I have been a member of a book club for over 10 years and look forward to discussing each new read every month. I am a Key Stage Leader and responsible for progress and intervention in my current role. I have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and have a sound knowledge of both the the WJEC and AQA specification. I currently teach at a school rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and whose departments results are in the top 5% nationally.I firmly believe it is vital to explore and understand examiner markschemes, advice and feedback in order to achieve the best results in an examination. I use interesting and personalised resources in my approach to any task.
