I have over 25 years of experience of teaching Science at both GCSE and A level Biology and have experience of all exam boards and up to date knowledge of the requirements of the new specifications. I specialise in teaching GCSE and A level. I am also an assistant examiner for OCR A level Biology, marking A Level exam papers each Summer.

I have much experience of private tuition at both GCSE and A level. The first session will involve assessing the needs of the individual. This enables me to design bespoke teaching and learning strategies tailored to the students requirements. As a consequence students build their confidence in their knowledge and ability to apply their knowledge to exam questions This has a positive impact on their outcomes in the final exam. I use a variety of teaching and learning methods to ensure that students get the most out of these sessions.

I am passionate about my subject and students feel that this enthusiasm enables them to appreciate how topics link together and how concepts relate to everyday contexts.
