Hello!
My name is Harry.
I`ve taught piano for over 10 years, both as a private piano tutor and for top UK schools (private and state).

I focus on finding the best way to teach the individual student. This means that I`m happy to adapt and teach classical, jazz, rock and pop or spending time teaching students to write their own music, maybe using apps and games to teach when useful.

Because I spend so much time building a strong teacher-student relationship, many of my students have lessons for years, achieving a high level of piano ability, while having a fun at the same time.

Just quickly, I should mention that I have a 1st class degree in classical piano performance, and have lots of experience as a performer and composer. I`m currently working on writing music for a off west-end play and also working on project to restore the music of Herkimer for a cultural centre in Hertfordshire. I`ve recorded for film and even at Abbey Road studios!

Availability: I`ve got a couple of free slots for weekly lessons for the Autumn term!

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I`ve worked for a number of specialised music academies, as well as working in schools.
This means I`ve taught students of every age from 4 upwards and can adapt teaching methods for anyone!

I`ve also run my own teaching business for 10 years, teaching kids, teenagers and adults.

My focus is always to make each student an independent musician, giving them the tools to have lifelong enjoyment at the piano.
