My name is Geoff, I previously worked as a Police Officer within Wiltshire Police before re-training as a Primary School Teacher. I am reliable, have DBS clearance and consider myself to be friendly and committed to seeing children make progress in their learning.
I only work with one student at a time so I can focus on that child’s needs and progress.

Given the current global pandemic circumstances, and the reduced social contact this has brought, I feel it is of real importance that children get regular contact with teachers.

Availability: I can provide support with any Primary level learning, assist with learning already set by teachers, pre-teach upcoming subjects or teach something completely new and fresh.

Experience: I have a PGCE in Primary Education and currently work as a Year 6 teacher within an outstanding school in Wiltshire. I have a strong subject knowledge and I’m genuinely passionate about teaching - I think it’s very clear who teaches because they have to, and who teaches because they want to!

I have experience of teaching Year 1, Year 4-5-6, so any age between 5-11 is where my specialism lies.
