I am a primary teacher and love my job as I love working with young people to meet their full potential. I am friendly and relaxed and like my students to enjoy school whilst learning.

In every class you teach you have children who need a little extra support and I work hard for these children. I strive to bring on their skills and confidence levels but this can be difficult at times, especially in a busy classroom setting. Tutoring one to one allows me to work with children individually and to meet their personal needs, giving them my full attention and support.

Availability: Week evenings except Thursdays. I can do from 15:30 onwards.

Experience: I am a primary teacher and have been qualified for 12 years. I work in a primary school in Noth Lanarkshire and I have experience teaching children from primary one to primary seven. I currently teach a primary 1/2 class.

I have previous experience tutoring children in both maths and literacy. I`ve also spent time within my school working on learning support in maths and literacy so have a lot of experience in assessing the level a child is at and how best to meet their needs. A large part of this is building confidence in their abilities.
