Experience: I`ve had past experience in teaching younger students at school and university to help them prepare for their exams by using the best learning strategy for them in order to maximize their potential. It`s not necessarily getting the student to learn something, but more importantly to teach them how to learn and use the best strategy to help them encode and recall information. Its important to help students connect the dots so that they understand the whole picture as opposed to learning things in abstract. I find this to be the most efficient approach in helping students succeed in their subjects. Students then begin to enjoy the subject as opposed to just studying to get by. It gets them more curious as they begin to think more about what they are learning with greater significance, making recall of information a lot easier.
