I am a Cambridge English graduate currently residing in Dorchester. I specialise in teaching English Literature, English as a foreign language (I have experience of working abroad), and personal statement/interview preparation.

Availability: I am quite flexible to busy timetables.

Experience: I am a driven and enthusiastic English teacher and an avid reader and writer dedicated to making the complex ideas which books and poems deal with accessible, fun and provocative to everyone. I welcome students with a like-minded curiosity and diligence.

After finishing my degree in English Literature at Clare College, Cambridge, where I taught in the college`s outreach programme, I spent two years teaching English as a foreign language. I have worked in France, Japan and the UK. I speak conversational French and also enjoy reading and translating French. In my spare time I volunteer at the Dorchester History centre as a research assistant.

From my time as a student and teacher, I understаnd the chаllenges оf new texts аnd ideаs, оf revisiоn аnd exаms, оf writing new оr extensive essаys. I cаn therefоre help with writing, reаding аnd speаking (presentаtiоn) skills, fоr bоth nаtive аnd fоreign speаkers. I cаn аlsо help with Oxbridge interview prepаrаtiоn in Arts subjects.
