Information about Kathrine
I am an enthusiastic KS1 primary teacher with a passion for learning through play and games. My favourite subjects to teach are phonics, reading and english. I have taught in mainstream and specialist schools.
Availability: I am available after school and most evenings.

Experience: I have been a teacher for 6 years and have experience in EYFS, year 1 and SEN teaching (I worked at Treetops school as an ABA therapist and currently teach in a PMLD school). I have had training in Read, Write Inc phonics, Letters and sounds and Jolly phonics.

Katherine has been tutoring my adult daughter, who has learning difficulties, for a few months and we are very pleased with the progress our daughter is making. Our daughter still wants to learn but we have found that there isn`t much out there by way of literacy and numeracy after formal education ends. Katherine`s highly engaging and fun lessons are tailored, very specifically, to our daughter`s needs. Katherine is extremely reliable and well organised. Our daughter looks forward to the lessons with Katherine.
