Will

My name is Will, I grew up in Newcastle. I went to school here and have been in full time education since I was 5. I sat GCSEs and A-levels. After school and until now I have been pursuing a career in sport. I wanted to get into tutoring as I think it’ll be very rewarding to teach children and watch their confidence develop and just see them grow as people! I do believe that everyone learns in their own way and natural ability isn’t true. I feel like finding the enjoyment or drive to work and then doing the right type of work produces success and what other people call ‘natural ability!’ I will hopefully be able to get to know your kid and we can work as a team to smash it!

Availability: Working evenings is ideal generally between 5-8:30pm. Through the tough times at the moment very wide availability. Limited summer availability.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: As I said I have been in full time education since I was 5. I sat 11 GCSEs. I got 7As and 4A*s A* in maths physics, chemistry and biology.
I took Maths Physics and Further Maths at A-level and got A* A A retrospectively. I currently left school to develop my athletic skills as a golfer. I am always learning although not academically at the moment. I have worked with kids and helped their in the golfing games growing up so have experience working with children and it’s a very rewarding experience.
