Hi there.
I`m an experienced Primary School teacher and enjoy the challenge of supporting children with their learning when they find things a little tricky, or they just need a little more guidance. I love to see their faces when the penny finally drops and they`ve got it - total satisfaction.

At home, I`m quite a creative person, and in my spare time I love to paint. I use oils on canvas, watercolours, silk painting, and I have just started exploring the art of pyrography - tricky but I`m persevering!

I love travelling and exploring new places and meeting new people. I also work with my boyfriend at different music events, so this means we travel around a lot too!

I feel I am an approachable, kind and caring person who would love to share my knowledge and experience to support your child with their learning. Wherever possible, I try to make the learning fun and meaningful and to personalise it to the individual. Did you ever think you could link sports cars to Maths and fractions? Well, being the creative person I am, I did it for a little autistic boy I worked with. You`ll have to let me know if your child has a particular interest to make their learning enjoyable too.

Availability: I will try to work round what works best for you and your child.

Here are the times when I`m not teaching at school and could work with your child, depending on how far I would need to travel to get to you.

Monday - from 18:00
Tuesday - from 16:00
Wednesday - from 16:00
Thursday - from 13:00
Friday - available all day
Weekends - some weekends available

Experience: I am currently working part time in a local Outstanding Primary School and I am the Key Stage One Leader and the Maths Leader for the school.

I have been teaching for over twenty years in a range of First and Primary Schools in Worcester, Great Wyrley, Rugeley and Stafford.

I specialised in Maths at University achieving an upper second class degree in Maths with honours with QTS (Qualified Teaching Status).

I have taught a range of pupils from Early Years through to Year 6. I have supported children carrying out both Year 2 and Year 6 SATS guiding them through the type of questions they might be exposed to.
