Information about Athena
Currently a Head of Sixth Form; I have been a History, Politics, Sociology and EPQ teacher for seven years now and teach all levels. I am confident in all exam boards and a range of topics. Over seven years all of my tutees have achieved 100% A-B grades. I am a dedicated and hardworking individual who is resilient, reliable and flexible. I am a strong leader and able to work efficiently both as part of a team and as an individual. I work well in high-pressured environments and am able to meet deadlines and manage my time and the demands of teaching effectively. I have a keen interest and a passion for education and encouraging students to reach their full potential. With experience in Sixth Form and UCAS, I can also support with personal statements and university entrance.
Availability: I am flexible and available most weekday evenings and Saturday and Sunday all day. Online tutoring is my preference for the foreseeable future.
