Hi, I`ve been teaching maths for over 20 years. Whilst working in schools, I spent time as Head of Year, and later on as Head of Maths department, leading the other maths teachers in developing their teaching styles, and ensuring teaching standards were high across my department. I love working one-to-one with pupils as I can make a huge difference to their learning, figuring out precisely what the gaps in their knowledge are and filling those gaps, whilst extending them on other topics and building confidence. Although I am happy to tutor anyone at KS3, KS4, I have built up a reputation locally for being a specialist for pupils with low confidence, anxiety, and ASD, with many parents giving testimonials that their son or daughters` time with me was the first time that they had ever enjoyed maths. I have also worked for one of the main exam boards for over 10 years and am a senior examiner, meaning I have great expertise in preparing pupils for GCSE exams.

Availability: Some availability during school day, in addition to evenings and weekends.

Experience: 19 years working as a Maths specialist in UK secondary schools, including 9 years as Head of Maths.
4 years working as a private Maths tutor from my home.
All tuition is now online, and I am accepting pupils from any location.
