I enjoy teaching, especially children in Key Stage 1. I am friendly, kind, patient, willing and determined to help and support children with all abilities to reach their goals. I love teaching the EYFS curriculum and therefore my tutoring sessions are very ‘hands on’ and visual to make learning fun and interesting for the children.

I like spending time with my family, watching movies and going on walks in Thorndon Forest. I have a mini dachshund called Muffin who keeps me busy when I am not working.

Availability: Monday to Saturday

Experience: I have a BA honours degree in Early Primary Education with QTS. I have over 6 years experience teaching in Nursery, Reception and Year 1. I am very familiar with the Letters and Sounds curriculum for teaching phonics and also have experiencing in preparing children for the Phonics Screening Test in Year 1.
