Hi,

My name is Ben. I am a 26 year old postgraduate neuroscientist.

I hold a First Class BSc in Biochemistry and recently graduated from University of Bristol (UoB) obtaining an MSc with Distinction in Molecular Neuroscience. I currently work as a research assistant at UoB in the Cardiac Research Laboratory and, come October 2019, I will begin a PhD in ultrasonic neuromodulation as part of the Translational Neuroscience research group at UoB.

I am able to provide support to A-level and GSCE students in Biology and Chemistry.

I am also able to provide support at University level, including help with exam preparation and essay writing, covering Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pharmacology and Neuroscience.

I am a kind and patient person who recognises that individuals learn differently. Lessons will be tailored to suit the level and learning style of each student. In this vein, I suggest a free 30-minute consultation, prior to the first lesson, to get to know one another, discuss the areas to be covered and formulate the best way to move forward.

Availability: I am primarily available weekday afternoons and weekends but I will endeavour to accommodate any student so if this doesn`t suit you we can try to arrange something else.

Experience: Over the past 5 years I have gathered a host of experience educating and communicating science; from mentoring undergraduate students to training pharmaceutical scientists in data analysis and speaking at the Houses of Parliament.
