I am a PhD graduate in Biochemistry from the University of St. Andrews and currently working as a Senior Scientist in a Biotech company.
During my PhD I had the experience of teaching students of different levels, including young children at school, undergraduates, and even postgraduates. In my role as a STEM advocate, I spent a lot of time helping young pupils understand the practical applications of science through engaging activities and educational lessons. This helped to encourage and promote learning. This is where my passion lies.
I have a great understanding of the school curriculum, where I can assist in subject comprehension but also help students improve their study habits for future and current subjects.
