I am a capable, dedicated and patient primary school teacher, having taught in every primary year group across my 8 years of teaching. As a result, I have a strong subject knowledge, especially in Key Stage 2, and a thorough understanding of how children learn and achieve, keeping abreast of the latest new teaching ideas as well. Through my many class teacher roles at outstanding and good schools, I have extensive experience in planning, preparing and teaching across the curriculum. I have a real passion for bringing learning to life, and create stimulating, engaging and (very importantly!) fun lessons that are relevant to the children and which allow them to relate their learning to real-life situations. Every child is an individual and so I tailor my teaching and support to their specific needs and goals so that all the children I work with are appropriately challenged and supported. I am confident at using a wide variety of teaching methods, as I understand how individual children learn in different ways and will cater my teaching to this.

Experience: I am a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher, currently working part-time as a Year 6 teacher in a Sussex school. I can offer tuition across the whole Primary Curriculum, both KS1 and KS2, having worked in all year groups throughout my 8 years’ teaching experience at outstanding and good schools. I can offer home-schooling tuition, SAT’s preparation, 11+, Scholarship and support for School Entrance Examinations. I am a caring, calm and skillful teacher, with a strong subject knowledge, a passion for engaging and challenging students, and SEN experience. Qualified Teacher Status, The University of Kingston / Graduate Teacher Programme (2013). The University of Manchester, Law degree – LLB 2:1 (2005) - I started out life as a solicitor in the City before following my dream to become a Primary Teacher.
