I have been a teacher for 16 years and have taught pupils of all ages across the primary range. I am also a qualified and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo). I am particularly skilled with younger children and develop rapport quickly with them. I have a wealth of experience in phonics, maths and literacy and can teach any subject on the primary curriculum. I have planned and delivered specialised and targeted interventions to children with additional learning needs or to those who need to `close the gap`. I am also qualified to carry out cognitive assessments of children which help to identify underlying learning needs and can offer this at a reasonable price. I understand individual learning plans, EHCPs and annual reviews and am happy to offer my services to help parents and carers meet targets or to understand jargon!

Experience: * 16 years as a teacher, 15 of those at the same school
* Have taught all ages across the primary range
* School SENCo for 3 years with a passion for inclusion and removing barriers
* Highly knowledgeable in SEND matters, including EHCPs and annual reviews
* Specialised interest in attachment needs and the impact of trauma
* Have delivered small group or 1:1 interventions, targeted to the pupil, in curriculum subjects
* Have delivered 1:1 specialised interventions helping learners with dyslexia
* Skilled at recognising and helping with social, emotional and behavioural needs
* Qualified to carry out cognitive assessments and registered with the British Psychological Society
* Experienced in teaching piano, I am personally certified up to Grade 7.
