I am a graduate of Queen Mary University in Film Theory (MA) and the University of Roehampton in Media & Communications (MA) and I provide tuition for English and Film at GCSE Level.

Tailoring my lessons to each pupil`s current abilities, I consider areas of development that are often overlooked in school and make lessons engaging and enjoyable.

I have an excellent track record of supporting students in reaching their full potential and achieve good and excellent grades, and gain admission to schools of their choice.

Experience: As a former classroom teacher, I have developed Schemes of Work and Curriculum Maps to promote pupils’ progress, which allowed me to action plan and to closely monitor progression.

My 13-year tutoring experience has enabled me to provide targeted support, feedback and guidance to students, so as to achieve the best possible outcomes.

My work as an educator has instilled a strong sense of empathy and understanding; it has enabled me to be resourceful, compassionate, and patient in my interactions with students and their carers.

Additionally, my passion for film and extended knowledge on the subject enables students develop their critical thinking skills, encourage creativity and foster their love for the medium.
