Information about Matt
I am a fully qualified maths teacher working in a secondary school in Liverpool. I am originally from Newcastle but have been living and working in Liverpool for 3 years. I am 31 and have over 10 years experience of working with young people in a whole range of settings across charities and education. I am passionate about maths and enabling young people to achieve their potential.
Availability: I am available for tutoring on weeknight evenings, as well as the weekends.
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: I have been teaching maths for three years and entered the profession through the Teach First Programme. Since qualifying I have been promoted within my school to the role of numeracy coordinator. I have previously tutored three pupils through their GCSE`s. In September, I will be taking up a lead teacher of maths role in a nearby school.
