I have 25 years teaching experience, ranging from primary school children to adults. I enjoy working with individual students so that the lesson can be tailored to the individual and their learning needs.I have a BA hons in Psychology, a PGCE teaching qualification and have a fully enhanced DBS police check. In the past I have been a classroom teacher, SENCO and Head Teacher but now enjoy teaching individual students,of all ages, and small groups.

Availability: I am happy to teach during the day and in the evenings. However, please contact me for availability because I only have three spaces left, beginning in July.

I offer an initial half hour visit free, so that we can see whether my teaching style meets your needs.

Experience: 25 years teaching 4-17 year olds. Some of this time was spent teaching children with EBD, ADHD, specific learning difficulties, children on the autistic spectrum and school phobics.I have been used by schools to improve the expected grades of young people studying GCSE English and Maths. I have also taught basic skills for the Probation Services and Psychology to Adults and members of the RAF.
The students I have taught privately have ranged from students on the autistic spectrum, school phobic students and students requiring catch up work for GCSE maths and English as well as students that simply require a boost in their confidence.
