I am a trumpet player, and recent graduate (2020) of the Royal College of Music having graduated with a Master of Performance degree (distinction) as well as a Bachelor of Music (first class honours), both with scholarships. I also received piano tuition at the RCM and was awarded the Lloyd Hartley memorial prize for pianoforte in Leeds twice. I have won the RCM trumpet prize and I have a wide range of experience in a variety of genres and regularly perform professionally with orchestras and ensembles across London, such as the London Sinfonietta, the Philharmonia Orchestra and the Dunedin Consort, as well as being a Foyle Future First with the London Philharmonic Orchestra for 2020/21. On top of this I have been a member of the Britten-Shostakovich Festival Orchestra and Jeune Orchestra Européen Hector Berlioz. I have performed in many high profile concerts, under conductors such as Bernard Haitink, John Wilson and Francois-Xavier Roth, and in venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall (Moscow) and the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center.

Availability: I am flexible with organising around students availability any day from Monday-Sunday.

Experience: I have experience in private tuition and exam preparation as well as having studied teaching modules as part of my degree - covering group teaching and workshops for a complete range of ages/abilities. I like to make lessons fun and engaging so that students can enjoy making music and also feel rewarded for this through exams. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities!
