Information about Debbie
I have taught German and French in Higher Education institutions (universities) for 20 years and also have significant experience in teaching EFL. As a well-accomplished and experienced teacher I am also able to offer English Language and English Literature and also Maths to GCSE level.
Availability: I have a number of tutees but can usually be flexible and work both daytime or evenings. I teach primarily in my own home but can also teach online via Skype. Whilst Covid cases are still fluctuating I will teach only online.

Experience: 1987-1991 at University of Northhampton 1991 - 2013 at University of Chester. Also responsible for German Dept as Head of Subject. Currently teaching English as Foreign Language, German and Spanish to employees at Airbus and have been teaching there successfully for 8 years. More recently I have added Maths to my portfolio and have had some very good results in GSCE Higher and Foundation as well as the QTS Numeracy Test.

Easy to contact and arrange lesson. Daughter it greatly enjoying her lessons and been a great success.

So glad we found Debbie, she has been a great help to my daughter. We only started lessons this last term but she is already feeling much more confident about her GCSE. Her conversational French has really improved and she is now enjoying her French lessons. Debbie delivers high quality lessons and she always send us the lesson material in advance, highly recommend.

Debbie has been very supportive helping my son to prepare for his exams despite only starting online lessons with him just a few weeks before exam time. She has been very encouraging and positive with my son, and is easy to communicate with. Debbie has also gone the extra mile to prepare in advance for lessons and followed up with helpful supportive material. It is early days but I can see that ongoing lessons will make a significant difference to his level of German speaking and understanding.
