Information about Rob
Hi there! I am located in North West / Central London with a strong academic background, five years of professional experience and two years tutoring experience.
Having graduated from the MArch (Master of Architecture) course and PG Dip (Part 3) course at the University of Westminster, I completely understand the challenges and stresses that comes with studying Architecture. I am able to offer assistance and tuition across all aspects of this academic process from bachelors, through to masters.
Key areas within Architecture which I am able to assist in are:
- Software Skills (Along with those above Rhino, Revit, 3DsMax, Grasshopper, Realflow).
- Project Narrative.
- Design Research and Development.
- Drawing Graphics and Presentation.
- Laser Cutting
- 3D Printing
- Technical Design.
- Reports
- Crit Preparation & Layouts
- Crit Debriefing
- Portfolio Preparation & Layouts
My diverse creative background has provided me with numerous transferable skills which I am able to employ to assist various other creative courses too.
I take a calm and understanding approach to teaching and learning, with the primary aim to support students to realise their personal goals and strengths, whilst providing assistant to overcoming the various difficulties which arise along the way, making them easier to tackle in the future.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Availability: Monday - Friday 7pm - 10:30pm
Saturday - Sunday 9:30am - 8pm
Study Locations:
I am quite flexible; home, universities, co-working spaces, coffee shops, parks.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: Whilst I was undertaking my MArch (Master of Architecture) I was also employed by the University of Westminster to assist with teaching the undergraduate Architecture students on a weekly basis. Having recently been through the educational system, the undergraduate students found the tutoring help invaluable.
During this time I was guest critic for the interim and final crits of the 1st Year BA (Hons) Interior Architecture, as well as interim and final guest critic for both the 1st and 2nd year BA (Hons) Architecture programmes at Westminster.
Furthermore, I annually I assist with the preparation, design and fruition of Architectural Exhibitions.
During my professional career I have worked at three prestigious multinational practices in London; working on a range of international & local projects across various sectors from concept design through to construction.
I look forward to answering any questions regarding future tuition.
Sincerely,
Rob
