I am a dedicated, and an adaptable professional who enjoys the challenge of teaching and makes every effort to create a positive learning environment for the students. I love everything about being a teacher with a student or in a classroom with a group of students and motivate them to learn something new every day to accomplish the goals of having higher education in UK.

I have not had a student fail their modules after being tutored by me. Students often come to me worried about their exams or essays, however after one lesson they understand difficult concepts due to my teaching methods and are much more confident in the subject area.

My tutoring approach is student centred and I feel the tutor should always be flexible to the student, never adopting a one-size-fits-all approach. I love to get to know my students as individuals, and plan my lessons around their needs accordingly, identifying their strengths and weaknesses to really maximise their learning.

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually.

Experience: I am a PGCERT and UGC qualified lecturer with 15+ years of teaching experience. I have a B.Com. and 3 master degrees (M.Com, M.B.A and M.Sc in Finance. I am also a registered examiner with CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) and am DBS cleared.

I have 15+ years of teaching experience of Business and Management, working with a range of ages and abilities. Since April 2009 I have been working with University of Leicester - International Study Centre where I teach mixed nationality classes that are designed to prepare international students for their undergraduate studies at the University of Leicester. My experience as outlined in my curriculum vitae, include teaching various subjects like Business Studies, Accounting, Economics 1 & II, Business Law. My daily routine also includes the responsibilities of program design, materials development, assessment, and dealing with various administrative duties. I have worked as an associate tutor in University of Leicester, taking seminars of UG and PG students.

I also teach Hindi language at University as vocational course and can teach Punjabi.
