Information about Annie
I am a qualified Teacher confident in teaching any primary school level subject - specifically English and Maths.
I am trained in both KS1 and 2 and happy to offer tutoring for SATS or end of year exams!
I offer interactive tutoring with lots of different activities, and ways in which you can be further involved as a parent in between sessions, for example, working together to find the perimeter or area of objects at home and in the garden!
I am very excited about tutoring as it gives children the perfect chance to recognise areas that they find tricky, working through them at their own pace with support, feeling confident with each aspect before moving on!
Availability: I am available all evenings, Saturday and Sunday.
Willing to travel: 3 miles
Experience: I have teaching experience as a class teacher in Year 2 but have also taught and covered from Nursery to Year 6.

Annie helped our daughter gain confidence in both her numeracy and literacy skills in a very short space of time. She was reliable, punctual and professional at all times. Our daughter enjoyed all of her sessions with Annie. Always smiling throughout! She made such a difference.

Annie has been a godsend for us. We had been struggling with our 8 yr old who had developed a mental block about maths and was obviously not enjoying it at school. Homework was becoming a battleground. Her school is good, but can only help so much with individual time per child. We contacted Annie and she has now had 2 sessions with our daughter. Annie has made amazing progress with her already, showing our daughter that maths can be interesting and fun, our daughter really enjoys the hour that she spends with Annie. It is dawning on her that maths can be interesting and fun and she is full of enthusiasm, thanks to Annie. So much so, our child is now testing us. I would thoroughly recommend Annie to any parent who has worries about their child`s maths, we are just so glad that we found her to help with both her actual grounding in maths as well as to improve confidence. Our child is actually now looking forward to school after half term for her maths lesson!!!
